The Microm HM 335 E Microtome is a high performance, electronic microtome designed for rapid, safe and comfortable handling. Offering a horizontal feed range of 28 mm with a vertical range of 64 mm, the device also has a specimen retraction feature that can be turned off. This remarkable power-assisted rotary microtome can be used for a wide variety of applications ranging from paraffin sectioning to plastic-embedded specimens. With the HM 335 E Microtome, users are allowed to select from a number of sectioning features including an automatic micro/macro feed system, pre-selectable fine or trim feed, and a motorized coarse feed. This fast and reliable microtome also enables directed fitting of all specimen clamps. The device is enabled with an automatic specimen approach feature with clearly designed steps, making this microtome very easy to use. Other attributes of the Microm HM 335 E include an automatic section transferring device, a safety locking device, a spacious section waste tray, a unique knob control, and a patented knife carrier system.
