This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements. We tested both units with a digital thermometer (not included).

The unit powers on and heats up on side plates and top, the thermometer was showing temperature readings of up to 50°c when on a setting of 55°c. The light does not work.

1 x Model - EG1140 C-1Cat no. 038831679The unit powers on with the plate cooling. The temperature cooled to as low as -4°c after running for around 20 minutes.

Both units are in a reasonable, used cosmetic condition with marks and stains.
