The BB2 enables batch processing for smaller sample sizes while accommodating continuous operation for higher throughputs. The integrated disc spring package acts as a robust overload protection mechanism, and, along with a central lubrication system, ensures prolonged operational life.
Catering to a diverse range of applications, the BB2 effectively processes basalt, building materials, ores, feldspar, glass, granite, ceramics, and various other materials, including oxide ceramics, quartz, and cement clinker. Key advantages include a high degree of grinding, wear compensation via zero-point adjustment, and adjustable split width. Functionally, the BB2 operates as a durable single toggle crusher. Material is introduced through a non-recoil hopper into a wedge-shaped crushing chamber, where it is subjected to the elliptical motion induced by an eccentric shaft-driven moving arm against a fixed arm. Material is efficiently crushed and directed downwards until it reaches the desired fineness and exits into a detachable collection container. The machine’s infinitely variable gap adjustment enables optimal adaptation to the specific material characteristics and targeted final particle size.
