The autoMACS Pro Separator by Miltenyi Biotec operates on a principle allowing both positive and untouched cell isolation, effectively separating target cells from PBMCs, cultured cells, and dissociated tissue. It is capable of directly isolating cells from whole blood or bone marrow, utilizing the innovative StraightFrom Whole Blood MicroBeads. This extensive system offers a comprehensive selection with over 400 different MicroBeads and Isolation Kits. Post-separation, both labeled and non-labeled cells are obtained, ready for diverse downstream applications such as functional assays, molecular assays, chimerism analyses, and flow cytometry. Ensuring cell viability, the system incorporates Chill Racks to maintain cell integrity throughout the process.

The autoMACS Pro is equipped with pre-set programs tailored for all MACS MicroBeads and Isolation Kits, promoting accurate sample handling. Continuous monitoring through advanced sensors safeguards optimal instrument performance by checking buffer levels and column status, thus ensuring operator safety.

The compact design, including a MiniSampler, measures 605×455 mm (W x D) with an adjustable height ranging from 392.5 to 454 mm, making it suitable for benchtop use under typical laminar flow hoods.

Additional Chill Racks facilitate temperature control with a phase-change coolant visible at transition points, preventing sample freezing as racks should not be cooled below 0°C.
