New and used instruments
Our LAUDA Hydro ring water baths have been engineered for consistent use in a laboratory setting, providing flexible temperature ranges from 25°C to 100°C. Suitable for deployment with columns, Erlenmeyer flasks, or beakers, these units provide the assurance of non-stop unattended operation due to its in-built water level regulator and fail-safe system which stops heating upon low water levels.
Available in five variants, these ring water baths include an easily removable perforated lid complemented by a set of heat-resistant plastic rings. The models H 11 V and H 19 V, specifically, have been optimised for safety in fume cupboards.
Constructed from robust stainless-steel housing, these units display a high level of chemical resilience even when utilized with chemically aggressive fluids. Temperature regulation is simplistic via a straightforward knob operator with a marked scale for precision.
Included in the package are stainless-steel support rods (600mm in length and 12mm in diameter), providing robust support. The LAUDA Hydro series is safeguarded from dry running scenarios through an electro-mechanical valve which halts heating during low water levels.
Depicted in the image is the user-friendly control panel, outfitted with a knob, a graduated scale, an indicator light, and a safety valve for effortless operation. The modular tank features a ring opening for adaptability with varying glassware types.
Incorporated safety protocols include an evaporation protection mechanism safeguarded from dry running due to the presence of a thermostatic overvoltage cut-off device. There is a designated nut on the control panel for disengaging the security system.
The standard water level regulator enhances operational reliability by compensating water loss through evaporation, thereby maintaining a constant water level. This feature indeed enables utilization even at sub-ambient temperatures, with a minimum operation temperature approximately 3°C above tap water temperature.
