With internal circulating system


Cover frame and lid have mirror finish. Lift-up, insulating lid with inner camber, no dripping back of condensate into the tubes.

Corrosion-resistant outer housing, made of electrolytically galvanised sheet steel, powder-coated. Drain dock at the back.

The circulation system of the water bath ensures optimum temperature uniformity throughout the whole bath. An electric motor with rotary magnet is flanged to the bath floor. Its torque is transmitted to a PTFE coated stirring magnet in the bath. The stirring magnet forces the water into the centre of the bath and then evenly back again.

Benchmark Roto-Therm Plus Incubated Rotator Variable Speed w/ Tube Holders Benchmark’s new Roto-Ther (more)m series of incubated rotating mixers provide a wide range of mixing capabilities. Suitable for an array of laboratory applications including resuspension, protein binding, nucleic acid purification, histochemistry, hybridization etc, the mixers include interchangeable tube holders for accomomodating all common tube sizes from 0.5ml to 50ml. The motion can be adjusted from vertical (end over end) mixing, to horizontal (rolling or hybridization style) mixing. For applications requiring temperature control, the Roto-Therm series can be digitally programmed to maintain chamber temperatures of ambient +5C to 60C and include an “in-lab” calibration function for ensuring accurate temperature control. The Roto-Therm is also available in a “Plus” configuration, providing the following additional features: Variable speed: 5 to 70rpm “Mix” function: Rotating in combination w/ oscillations (increased mixing) “Pause” function: Rotating with intermittent “stops” during rotation “Rock” function: Back and forth, gentle rocking motion (see-saw) Included tube holders hold capacities of 11 x 1.5/2ml, 5 x 5-7ml, 5 x 10/15ml, and 6 x 50ml with 24 x 0.5ml.
