FortéBio Octet-QK Molecular Analyzer

The FortéBio Octet-QK Molecular Analyzer offers a robust solution for real-time quantification and kinetic characterization of biomolecular interactions. Employing proprietary Bio-Layer Interferometry (BLI), this label-free and highly sensitive biosensor technology provides precise measurement capabilities. Essential features include protein quantitation, kinetic and affinity analyses, binding specificity and cooperativity assessment, and kinetic screening. The system operates with a 96-well black, flat bottom PP microplate format, supporting a test volume of 200 µL, with non-destructive and recoverable sample handling. Suitable for purified samples, common culture media, and crude lysates, it allows automation with up to 8 biosensors in parallel, accommodating up to 96 unattended tests. Equipped with an 8-channel biosensor manifold and optical interferometer, the system maintains a sample plate platform temperature range from 2°C above ambient to 40°C. Orbital flow is static or adjustable between 0 rpm and 100-1500 rpm. The instrument's dimensions are 475 x 430 x 530 mm, with a weight of 23 kg.
