Introducing the MY11 Gray 60 BASIC - CHEMISAFE Fire Cabinet Series
Constructed solely of 1 - 1.5 mm thick, cold-bent electrogalvanized sheet steel in a refined Gray RAL 7035, this cabinet represents the pinnacle of fire safety technology. Its external finish is adorned with an acid-resistant epoxy resin, passed through a thermal tunnel at a temperature of 200°C.
Internally, the insulated cabinet is fabricated with robust panels of high-density rock wool and calcium sulphate. A complementary internal finish of superiorly dense melamine panels ensures an excellent defense against chemical vapours and harsh pollutants.
Designed for longevity, this cabinet has the provision to seamlessly accommodate replacement of spare parts whenever necessary.
Built with an advanced technology, the MY11 Cabinet automatically shuts the doors when ambient temperature hits 50°C or more. Guaranteeing optimal sealing, the design incorporates 30 mm heat-expanding insulating gaskets which respond to a rise in temperature, in compliance with the EN14470-1 standard.
The cabinet incorporates an air inlet and outlet, fitted with certified fire dampers that shut off the ducts if the temperature crosses 70°C, as per standard 4102-6. With the added feature of an external connector or a filtration ventilation system, the design includes a Ø 100 mm flange for ventilation ease.
Characterized by its triggered locking mechanism, this equipment ensures the cabinet doors remain open but will shut automatically in case of ambient temperature crossing 50°C threshold.
Its anti-spark hinge guarantees solid door integrity. Further, the cabinet is grounded, fitted with adjustable leveling feet, and secured with a lock and key feature.
The cabinet arrives complete with three adjustable-height painted steel shelves (BASIC series) or stainless steel shelves (EASY series), and a retention tray with a grid. An aluminium pin arrangement excludes all prospects of sparks from the shelves.
Signs with pictograms are provided as per ISO 3864. The system has been rigorously tested and certified for 90-minute fire resistance per the EN14470-1 BV standard (Bureau Veritas), and aligns with EN16121 BV standards (Bureau Veritas).
Supplementing the features of the original version, we offer the MY11 Cabinet as a double-capacity version with external dimensions of WxDxH: 200x600x1950mm.
Each model is delivered with:
- 3 painted steel shelves (maximum load of 60 kg evenly distributed)
- 1 pan with grid (capacity of 20 litres)
- Predefined door hinge placement on the left, with customization available for the right.
Optional accessories available for further customization includes additional shelves, a timer, an open-door alarm, ventilator, electric aspirator, an activated carbon filter, a cooling system, and an automatic thermal activation internal carbon dioxide system (activates at 62°C).
