Explorer EX24001 Ohaus
The OHAUS Explorer Analytical Balance Series integrates exceptional functionality with purposeful design, offering a unique range of high-performance balances unparalleled in the market. These balances boast intelligent and intuitive functionality, enhanced by a myriad of innovative features that simplify the most complex of laboratory measurements.
The Explorer series encompasses three high-capacity precision models with abilities up to 35 kg, offering the same superior features as the other Explorer models, including AutoCal™ technology and a 1-second stabilization period.
- The display can be separated from the base by a distance of up to 5 feet (1.5 meters), allowing it to adapt to virtually any workspace requirements. A longer 27-foot (9-meter) cable is also attainable for increased versatility.
- Constructed with a die-cast metal base and a robust 377 x 311mm stainless steel stand base, the high-capacity Explorer is designed for enduring, everyday use.
Applications
The Explorer is applicable in Weighing, Piece Counting, Percent Weighing, Check Weighing, Animal/Dynamic Weighing, Filling, Totalization/Statistics, Formulation, Differential Weighing, Density Determination, Peak Hold, Ingredient Costing, Pipette Adjustment, SQC, and Statistics.

Featuring a 5.7'' (145 mm) color VGA graphic touchscreen display with user-adjustable brightness.
Operation
Operates with an AC adapter (included).
Communication
Communication is facilitated through RS232 and USB (included) or a secondary RS232/Ethernet (accessories sold separately). The Explorer provides GLP/GMP data output with a real-time clock.
Construction
Manufactured with a metal base, ABS top housing, stainless steel deck, front illuminated level indicator, weigh below hook, safety bracket, calibration lock, four touchless sensors, and in-use cover.
Project Characteristics
Selectable environmental filters, auto tare, user-selectable calibration range points, software lock and reset menu, user-configurable communication settings, and data print options, user-defined project and user ID, automatic standby mode, compatibility in up to 14 operating languages.
