The balances are powered by an AC adapter that is bundled with the product.

Communication

They offer RS232 and USB interfaces as standard features with an option of a second RS232/Ethernet. These systems provide GLP/GMP data output aligned with a real-time clock.

Construction

The construction involves a robust metal base, topped with an ABS housing, stainless steel platform and a glass draft shield equipped with top-mounted side and flip/slide top doors (applicable for 1mg models). They feature a front-level illuminated indicator, a weigh-below hook, safety bracket, calibration lock, and four touchless sensors.

Advanced Features

The advanced features include selectable environmental filters, auto tare, user-selectable span calibration points, software lock and reset menu, user-adjustable communication settings and data print options, user-definable project and user ID, automatic standby mode, and multi-language support, up to 14 operational languages.

It can be used for a wide range of applications from simple synthesis in the laboratory to process optimisation in industry. The RS 1050 consists of two main modules, a temperature controlled Reaction unit with integral magnetic stirrers and a permanently connected Chiller which is controlled by the Reaction Unit. The factory fitted umbilical tube connecting the Reaction unit to the Chiller, transports refrigerant gas to the Reaction unit.
