Manufacturer: Distek
Model: Evolution 4300 Automated Programmable Syringe Pump Dissolution Sampler + 2x Eight Channel Syringe Pumps Complete System
S/N (Evolution 4300 Dissolution Sampler): 4301266
S/N (Syringe Pumps): SP01500 and SP01499
Description:
The Distek Evolution 4300 Automated Programmable Syringe Pump Dissolution Sampler is a water bath dissolution instrument designed to gather accurate, high volume sample collections while reducing cross contamination between sampling intervals. With its dual syringe pump and dual bath configuration, Distek Evolution 4300 can run two different and independent dissolution methods, allowing for maximum sampler productivity. This system includes the Distek DS 4300 Dissolution Sampler, two syringe pumps and cables.
It is a media sampling instrument capable of sampling into test tubes or directly injecting into HPLC vials. The system can be configured as a single or dual bath capable unit (Single Bath - Configuration: Collects up to 32 time points from up to 8 vessels; Dual Bath - Configuration: Collects up to 32 time points from up to 16 vessels) via one or two eight channel syringe pump(s). The proprietary syringe design significantly reduces cross contamination between sampling intervals. The sampler is designed to accommodate up to two syringe pumps for dual bath sampling capability. Each syringe pump operates independently allowing for two different dissolution methods to be run simultaneously.
Features:
- Automated Dissolution Sampler
The Evolution 4300 is equipped with state-of-the-art electronics and utilizes highly reliable and accurate syringe pumps for sample collection. Accommodating up to two independent syringe pumps, both dual sampling and simultaneous dissolution methods make the Evolution 4300 the premier Dissolution sampler option.
- Positive Displacement Syringe Pump:
The single or dual syringe pump configuration allows for accurate, high volume sample collection. Each syringe pump contains up to 8 individual syringes for sample collection from up to 8 vessels.
- Independent Method Programming:
The dual bath configuration allows two different and independent dissolution methods to be run, maximizing sampler productivity.
- Simple Yet Detailed Interface:
User Logins set access limits, sampling is logged for audit purposes and the printer provides during and after testing result reports.
- Septum Piercing:
With dual sleeved needles to alleviate back pressure. The sampler is capable of collecting into open or sealed test tubes and HPLC vials. Collecting into sealed vials improves results by minimizing evaporative loss.
- Media Recycling and Replacement:
Media Recycling and Replacement offer the advantage of returning unused media and replacing the collected sample volume for ease of dissolution calculations.
- pH Adjustment - Standard:
Additional media can be added, up to 300 mL during the dissolution test to adjust the pH of the media or to increase the final volume.
- Dilution Cable - Standard:
User defined volumes of diluent can be set for each individual sample or for all samples collected. Dilutions are performed upon completion of the test.
- Bath Control:
The Evolution 4300 can monitor and control up to two Distek dissolution baths, offering total system integration and ease of programming.
- Five Minute Sampling:
The EVO 4300 is ideally suited for immediate release profiling when a sampling time of five minutes between time points is required.* (*Sampler parameters will affect minimum time intervals)
