The CareFusion Handheld Micro Spirometer, formerly produced by Micro Medical Ltd. U.K., is a reliable and precise instrument designed for the measurement of low end-expiratory flows, crucial for assessing patients with COPD and asthma. Despite minor black stains on the display, it maintains full functionality, ensuring unwavering performance in clinical settings.
This model includes 10 disposable adult mouthpieces (30 mm, with internal filters), a nose clip, and 10 disposable foam pads. It comes equipped with standard scales for MEN and WOMEN to measure FEV1 and FVC, and is protected by its original carry case for safe transport.
As a gold standard transducer, it offers accurate readings for Micro FEV1 and FVC, with a volume range from 0.1 to 9.999 liters and a flow range from 0.2 to 15.00 liters/second, meeting and surpassing all known spirometry performance standards.
Operating on a single 9V alkaline PP3 battery, it boasts dimensions of 170 x 60 x 26 mm, combining portability with exceptional measurement accuracy (+/- 3%). It is in pristine cosmetic condition, acquired from German MIL MED Service stocks, maintaining full operational capacity even with minor cosmetic imperfections on the display.
