Biomérieux NucliSENS easyMAG

The Biomérieux NucliSENS easyMAG is a pre-owned, IVD-labeled automated system designed for comprehensive nucleic acid extraction across a diverse range of sample types and volumes. Engineered as a cutting-edge platform, it employs an advanced magnetic silica variant of bioMérieux’s proprietary BOOM technology, which is renowned in the field for setting the standard in universal RNA and DNA extraction.

The system accommodates the processing of 1 to 24 samples per run and utilizes NucliSENS magnetic silica particles to achieve precise nucleic acid binding. Validated sample types include plasma, serum, whole blood, cerebrospinal fluid, urine, stool, and respiratory specimens. It supports an input volume ranging from 10 to 1000 microliters, with an output volume selection spanning from 25 to 110 microliters in 5-microliter increments.

This system features robust traceability via barcode scanners and employs uniform reagents across all protocols, promoting efficiency and consistency. The system's user-friendly design ensures a hands-on time of less than 15 minutes for processing up to 24 samples. Depending on the workflow, the total turnaround time for 24 extractions lies between 40 and 60 minutes.

The NucliSENS easyMAG supports both on-board and off-board lysis, as well as parallel processing of diverse sample types and volumes, including the processing of both primary and pre-lysed samples. It offers the capability to select specific elution volumes for individual samples within the same run, enhancing versatility and output precision.
