Description:

The Agilent 1200 Evaporative Light Scattering Detector is designed for the detection of compounds in the eluent of high performance liquid chromatography, micro-HPLC, gel permeation chromatography (GPC) or countercurrent chromatography (CCC). It is capable of monitoring eluent flow rates from 5 μl/min to 5 ml/min. Evaporative light scattering detection is a universal technique that can detect all non-volatile analytes. Detection does not depend on the absorption of the radiation and is not affected by the absorption properties of the solvent, so solvents that absorb UV radiation can be used.
