This Jouan VXS 570 Laboratory Deep Freezer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to (more) requirements. The unit powers up and was tested with a digital thermometer. It did reach -84˚C but after opening the door for the probe our thermometer measured -76˚C. The unit is in very good condition but would benefit frmo new door seal due to splits in the top. There is no key for the lock but it is unlocked.

The system powers up and is in good cosmetic condition with only minor marks from use. The unit has been tested with samples but was showing readings of 200-300 when it should be showing readings of around 50000. We were unable to diagnose the exact fault. The unit has a Dell Optiplex 7010 PC paired with it. The PC includes a keyboard, mouse, monitor, USB and VGA Cable. It has had a brand new copy of 32bit Windows 7 installed. Guavasoft 3.1 has also been installed, which includes:ViaCount.InCyte (This requires an unlock code from Millipore to run).easyCheck.Guava Clean 3.1. We have been able to open and close the sample tray. This proves that the system is fully connected. It is sold for spares/repairs.
