Christ Rotational Vacuum Concentrator System

With the Christ Rotational Vacuum Concentrator (RVC), samples are prepared quickly while maintaining gentle handling. This versatile method supports evaporation, drying, purification, and concentration processes. It serves as a viable alternative to distillation systems, rotary evaporators, and freeze dryers. Unlike distillation systems and rotary evaporators that operate with high temperatures and near-atmospheric pressure, the RVC minimizes heat damage. Freeze drying, while gentle, is time-consuming; however, the RVC offers a balanced solution. Ideal for a broad range of applications—such as DNA/RNA preparation, oligosynthesis, PCR, HPLC, and more—the system adapts to various laboratory tasks.

The system includes the Christ RVC 2-25 CD plus concentrator, Christ CT 02-50 SR cold trap, and Vacuubrand MD 4C NT vacuum pump. The RVC 2-25 CD plus features a temperature range of 30°C to 80 °C and a speed up to 1550 rpm, with dimensions of 255 x 315 x 460 mm and a weight of 24 kg. The CT 02-50 SR cold trap offers a 2 L capacity, operates at a condenser temperature of -50°C, and allows for easy maintenance with a bottom drain valve.
