Description by the supplier

The LAUDA Hydro series water baths provide an optimal solution for various laboratory needs, inclusive of biological, medical, or biochemical applications. These equipment are designed to ensure an even temperature distribution, preventing any issues of overheating.

Constructed from high-grade stainless steel and intentionally designed for high functionality, these water baths range in volume between 4 to 41 liters, providing the appropriate sizing for diverse applications. The equipment can handle temperatures up to 100°C with a stability of ±0.1K, making it applicable even in a boiling range. A TFT color display provides a user-friendly experience, offering temperature readings in both °C and °F.

The 'A' models, specifically H 8 A and H 16 A, are equipped with a standard magnetic stir bar liquid circulation system to enhance temperature uniformity.

Sample applications include the preparation of cell, biological or medical samples, microbiological test incubation, sample thawing, and conducting of chemical reactions.

Key features:

- Three timer functions

- Internal electric resistance

- Direct temperature control for quick and precise heating

- Visual and acoustic alarms for low water, high/low temperature, and sensor failure

- Digital and electromechanical safety systems

- Lid designed to prevent sample contamination from condensation

- Exhaust valve on all models

Standard equipment includes a doubly insulated stainless steel lid and drain tap. A water level regulator is also available as an accessory.

Materials of the finest quality are employed, including stainless steel for the tank interior, lid, sieve, and heating element. The heat-insulating lid is doubly walled stainless steel with an internal curvature to guide the condensate.

The control panel is user-friendly, featuring a large TFT display that provides extensive information and facilitates quick navigation and setting adjustments.

Safety is assured with optical and acoustic alarms for low water level, over/under temperature, and sensor breakage/short circuit. Additionally, the equipment is spatially efficient and conveniently designed for user safety and comfort.

The circulation system guarantees optimal temperature consistency throughout the tub via a magnetic electric motor which drives a PTFE-coated stirrer within the tank. The stirrer pulls water towards the center and disseminates it evenly throughout the tank. This circulation feature can be activated via the main switch.

Recommended accessories include a water level regulator that maintains the set water level during evaporation, also facilitating usage at temperatures below room temperature, with a minimum of approximately 3°C above tap water temperature.
