Cover: A suitable stainless steel lid for an ultrasonic bath protects the bath fluid from external contamination and prevents odour nuisance caused by the added cleaning or disinfecting preparations. In addition, the noise emission that may be perceived as annoying during operation of the ultrasonic cleaner is reduced. The lids are designed in such a way that any condensation water that arises is led back into the tank.
Hanging basket: For holding sound reinforcement material; made of stainless steel. During ultrasonic operation, nothing may be placed on the bottom of the tank, as abrasion may occur between the material to be sonicated and the ultrasonic oscillating tank. It is therefore recommended to use a suitable basket to hold the sonication material. The BANDELIN baskets are designed in such a way that the material to be sonicated is always in the optimum area of the cavitation field (1-2 cm from the floor) in the oscillating tank. With the help of a basket, the sonication material can also be conveniently placed in the unit and removed after operation, e.g. for rinsing, without the user coming into contact with the sonication fluid in the oscillating tank.
Sieve holder: For cleaning test sieves in an ultrasonic bath; stainless steel. During ultrasonic operation, nothing may be placed on the bottom of the tank, as abrasion may occur between the material to be sonicated and the ultrasonic oscillating tank. It is therefore recommended to use a suitable basket to hold the sonication material. Insert strip: The insert strip is used to hold the insert vessels.
When using chemically aggressive liquids (e.g. TICKOPUR J 80 U), removing chemically aggressive or abrasive contaminants or sonicating sample liquids, insert cups are used (indirect sonication). Because nothing may be placed on the bottom of the ultrasonic bath. Another advantage: When using an insert strip, several insert beakers can be sonicated with different liquids at the same time (e.g. removal of dental cements with STAMMOPUR Z in one and cleaning with simultaneous chemical disinfection of dental instruments with STAMMOPUR DR 8 in a second insert beaker).
Please note that the surface tension of the water must be reduced in order to transfer the ultrasound to the insert vessel and therefore a cleaning solution (e.g. TICKOPUR R 33 – 3%) must be used as a coupling liquid / contact liquid.
