Description:

The Thermo Scientific Safe KS18 S2020 1.8 is a modern, microprocessor-controlled class II safety cabinet with laminar airflow to protect the user, product and environment. With a working width of 1.8 m, it is ideal for applications in cell culture, microbiology, molecular biology diagnostics and pharmaceutical quality control.

Thanks to the vertical laminar flow system with HEPA filtration, a sterile working environment of cleanroom class ISO 5 is created. At the same time, a front air curtain protects the operating personnel from potentially hazardous aerosols. The KS18 S2020 series is designed in accordance with international safety standards (e.g. DIN EN 12469) and offers high energy efficiency and quiet operation.

The device has an intuitive control system with digital display for monitoring air flow, filter saturation, light and alarm functions.
