The biohazard cabinet of Clean Air type EF/A4 is designed for microbiological research with biological agents, such as bacteria, viruses and allergens. Thus, this biohazard cabinet is suitable, inter alia, for culturing cells and for transfecting cells under sterile conditions.


The Clean Air EF/A4 generates a sterile air flow in the cabinet, keeping the material of the cabinet free from contamination and contamination (product protection). In addition, the downflow provides reasonable protection against cross-contamination of experiments. Furthermore, the intake of air from the laboratory room ensures that an inwardly directed protective air curtain is formed at the front of the cabinet, which serves as a personal protection.
