The Clean Air EF 6 Biological Safety Cabinet is fitted with top-tier filtration and airflow management, delivering a secure environment for sensitive biological research. The pre-filter is classified as G3 (EN 779), measuring 1760 x 445 mm, ensuring initial filtration efficiency. Downflow and exhaust are purified through Astrocell HEPA filters, specifically the HEPA 18P6+ for downflow (610 x 1830 x 69 mm, H14 acc. EN 1822) and the HEPA 7P6 for exhaust (762 x 610 x 69 mm, H14 acc. EN 1822).

Operational airflow capabilities include an average downflow speed of 0.36 m/s in work mode and 0.10 – 0.20 m/s in standby mode, with inflow speed exceeding 0.5 m/s across the entire front aperture, ensuring precise environmental control. The cabinet exhaust airflow is optimized at 600 m³/h.

It is equipped with efficient TL-high output lighting and UV-C for enhanced visibility and sterilization capabilities. The work area's front aperture, measuring 165 x 1800 mm in work mode, offers a maximum height of 350 mm, while the cabinet's interior and exterior dimensions provide ample space for versatile laboratory setups.
