Hettich Cyto System Cytocentrifuge

The Hettich Cyto System, built upon the Hettich Universal 320, is an advanced cytocentrifuge designed for precise cytology preparation. It includes a 1626 angle rotor accommodating six vessels, with a maximum rotation speed of 4,000 rpm and a relative centrifugal force of 2,039 g. The system comes with two vessels, each capable of holding four cytochambers (not included), allowing a sample capacity ranging from 1 to 8 mL, with a maximum capacity of 12 cytochambers. Additional vessels can be budgeted separately to reach full capacity. This unit is not refrigerated and features an analog rotary control alongside a digital display offering ten programmable settings. It includes essential safety features such as an emergency stop and an acoustic signal. A manual is provided for user guidance.

This cytology system efficiently creates high-quality preparations from a range of body fluids, supporting large volume processing of up to 8 mL or 2 x 8 mL samples. Its robust design prevents cell loss during sedimentation by securely attaching the cytology chamber to the slide, and it accommodates both dry and wet sample preparation.
