The condenser appears to be functional as the unit begins to cool, but a drive error is displayed on the centrifuge.Upon inspection, it was found that the motor had been disconnected, the front panel removed, and most wiring disconnected. This Thermo Scientific Heraeus Fresco 21 Refrigerated Benchtop Centrifuge was removed from a univers (more)ity lab where it was surplus to requirements. The unit was inspected by a service engineer. They replaced the display with one from an older model. It is now green. It is fully working up to 14800rpm and has been fully temperature tested. It is in excellent cosmetic condition with only minor usage marks.
