This Synbiosis aCOLyte 3 Colony Counter was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to re (more)quirements. This unit powers up with a 12V DC power adapter (not included). The device runs through the 3 different start-up stages but has not been tested further. It is in good cosmetic condition with marks from use.

This instrument brings extensive capabilities to the lab bench and is designed for the busy lab with multiple users. The large touch screen command center is extremely user-friendly and allows for fast set up of new protocols, as well as modifying and running existing protocols. The monochromator-based optical system allows for precise selection of wavelengths from 200nm to 1000nm, with no filters required. This range makes the SmartReader UV-Vis useful not only for typical ELISA , Bradford Lowry, and turbidity assays but also for more advanced applications such as quantitation of nucleic acids and proteins. The SmartReader UV-Vis can be set for Endpoint, Kinetic and Spectral Scanning assays. The MR9610 is designed for efficient processing of multiple samples and accepts standard 96 well plates as well as 384 well plates for high density screening. The plate layout interface allows for a quick and intuitive setup of a plate well’s contents. Users can highlight and label multiple wells to save time. The display shows a graphical representation of the plate. Users can label each well as required for: “known standard”, “unknown sample”, “blank well” , “QC Control well”, “positive control”, “negative control”, and “empty”. Controllable plate shaking and incubation allow for optimization of assay results. Theshaking speed can be controlled at different intensities with options for timed and pulsedshaking before a reading, or in between readings when performing a kinetic assay. Thelinear motion efficiently and uniformly mixes all samples in both 96 and 384 well plates.Temperature can be controlled from ambient +5⁰C up to 45⁰C, allowing for the processingof enzyme kinetics, and bacterial growth assays. This Varian TV-301 Navigator Turbomolecular Pump was removed from a university lab where it was surp (more)lus to requirements. We have tested this turbo pump using an Avian Turbo V-250 controller, Two stage vacuum pump and Edwards penning gauge for 30 minutes (Not included). It runs smoothly and achieved the pressure of 1x10^-5 mtorr with our set up. It is in great cosmetic condition with only minor usage marks.

This Bright Microtome Model M3500 was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirem (more)ents. The unit powers on and is in good cosmetic condition. it requires 2 x AA batteries to operate (not included). There are some tape marks on the unit from general use the battery compartment had signs of corrosion but we have cleaned this up, but some signs remain. It doesn't affect the operation of the unit. All dials and buttons appear to be responsive to the unit and move freely.
