The BioTek ELx808I Ultra is an eight-channel absorbance microplate reader designed for 96-well plates. It measures optical density between 380 to 900 nm using a filter-based system with included filters at 405, 450, 490, and 630 nm.
This model (ELx808I) includes temperature incubation and is configured solely for UV-Vis absorbance measurements. It features an onboard processor enabling local protocol and data management, complementing software-based control for versatile microplate assays.
