BioTek EL808 Microplate Reader

The BioTek EL808 Microplate Reader offers reliable absorbance detection across a range of applications. It supports multiple read methods, including end point, kinetic, and linear scanning, using 96-well plates. The system is equipped with a tungsten halogen light source and a photodiode detector, covering a wavelength range of 380 to 900 nm. It includes filters at 340, 405, 450, 490, and 630 nm, facilitating a dynamic range of 0 to 4.0 OD with exceptional resolution at 0.001 OD. While there is no pathlength correction, the microplate reader ensures OD accuracy better than 1% at 2.5 OD, OD linearity under 1% at 2.5 OD, and repeatability less than 0.5% at 2.5 OD. With a kinetic reading speed of 8 seconds for 96 wells, it offers efficient results. The compact dimensions of 394 x 406 x 222 mm and a weight of 13.6 kg make it ideal for laboratory settings.
