The LAUDA Varioshake VS 60 OI shaking incubator is an exceptionally reliable tool for rigorous laboratory applications, ideal for both gentle mixing and vigorous shaking. Designed for applications that require controlled, repeatable orbital movements, this incubator maintains temperatures up to +70°C with excellent stability, making it a preferred choice for standard research laboratories. It is ideal for incubation, fermentation, homogenization, chemical and biochemical reactions, enzyme and tissue studies, and the cultivation of bacterial cultures.

This shaking incubator features a user-friendly control panel with soft-touch keys and clear symbols, allowing precise settings for temperature, stirring frequency, and incubation time. Temperature regulation is managed by a microprocessor-based PID system with an RS232 interface, ensuring optimal distribution throughout the cabinet. The temperature range extends from 8°C above ambient to +70°C, with additional configurations possible using a cooling coil (not included).

The unit’s agitation capabilities include a quiet and robust stirring mechanism, providing gentle start and smooth orbital motion, which can be activated or deactivated as needed. Users can set the shaking frequency and incubation time easily. A continuous timer displays the remaining incubation duration and provides an audible signal upon completion.

Specific to the VS 60 OI model, it includes a liftable acrylic glass cover and a housing constructed from electrolytically galvanized, powder-coated sheet steel. The aluminum vibrating platform, equipped with 4 plastic pins, accommodates a vibrating tray or universal support, offering a load capacity of up to 12 kg. It supports a wide range of operations with a minimum shaking frequency of 20 min-1 and a maximum of 250 min-1, complemented by a large usable volume of 68 L.
