The Pierre Guerin Technologies EVO 50-60L Fermenter is a precision-engineered system designed for advanced bioprocess research, development, and small-scale production. This unit is in full working condition and ready for immediate release. Designed as mobile units with Sterilize-In-Place (SIP) and Clean-In-Place (CIP) capabilities, these systems are optimal for educational settings, R&D, and pilot-scale productions in GLP or GMP environments. They are versatile for various culture types—yeast, bacteria, fungi, or cell cultures—and operate in batch, fed-batch, continuous, or perfusion modes with appropriate accessories.

Key features include a high-grade 316L stainless steel vessel with a working volume of 50-60L and a total volume of 75L. The unit provides automatic media sterilization and precise culture temperature regulation through a double jacket system. It supports a maximum vessel pressure of 4 barg, and the headplate is designed for easy removal and maintenance.

The agitation system offers a drive type choice of mechanical coupling or magnetic coupling, featuring an impeller setup with an HTPG4 and Rushton impeller for optimal mixing. Speeds range from 30 to 1200 RPM with integrated torque monitoring.

Instrumentation and control are handled via the Neptune Control System with graphical interface for temperature, agitation speed, pH, dissolved oxygen, foam level, and optional total or viable cell density measurements. Ethernet™ network integration allows for remote monitoring and data logging. Gas management includes automatic control for air, oxygen, nitrogen, and CO₂ sparging, supported by integrated peristaltic and precision dosing pumps for nutrient and pH adjustments.

The unit is validated with GMP compliance (21 CFR PART 11 & GAMP 5 ready) and offers comprehensive process control, making it an ideal choice for high-level bioprocesses.
