The Bio-Rad Wide Mini-Sub Cell GT Electrophoresis Cell, as a second-hand system, offers a cost-effective solution with enhanced features suitable for efficient electrophoresis applications. Designed for multi-sample, rapid screening, this unit facilitates the separation of up to 30 samples per comb due to its expansive platform. Notably, the wide Mini-Sub Cell GT shares its width with the Sub-Cell GT Cell, enabling compatibility with interchangeable comb holders, combs, and 15 x 10 cm gel trays as used in the larger Sub-Cell GT units.


This system supports the use of ReadyAgarose Precast Gels, streamlining processes and ensuring uniform results. Each cell is equipped with essential components including a buffer tank, a safety lid with cables, and a leveling bubble to ensure precise and secure operation.


Product dimensions are 178 x 255 x 68 mm, with gel tray sizes of 150 x 70 mm, accommodating both wide mini and 96 Plus ReadyAgarose gel formats. The unit supports sample throughput ranging from 10 to 60 and features a base buffer volume of approximately 650 ml. While it does not have buffer recirculation, it maintains a bromophenol blue migration rate of approximately 4.5 cm/hr at 75 V, ideal for numerous laboratory applications.
