Its compatibility with the larger Sub-Cell GT components—such as the comb holder, combs, and 15 x 10 cm gel trays—ensures versatility and interchangeability.
The system is designed to work with ReadyAgarose Precast Gels, enhancing time efficiency and ensuring highly reproducible separations. It includes essential components such as a buffer tank, a safety lid with cables, and a leveling bubble for precision.
Specifications include a cell size of 178 x 255 x 68 mm, accommodating gel trays sized 150 x 70 mm. The unit supports wide mini and 96 Plus ReadyAgarose gel formats with a sample throughput range of 10 – 60. It requires a base buffer volume of approximately 650 ml, and the bromophenol blue migration rate is approximately 4.5 cm/hr at 75 V. Buffer recirculation is not featured in this model.
