This listing is for a Beckman Coulter CEQ 8800 Genetic Analysis System DNA Sequencer The Beckman Coulter CEQ-8000 Analyzer is a medium throughput, fluorescence-based system that utilizes capillary electrophoresis with up to 8 capillaries operating in parallel. This analyzer provides automated sequencing for detailed study of genome structures and rapid DNA fingerprinting for genomes by AFLP analysis. The CEQ-8000's on-column laser-induced fluorescence with auto capillary alignment ensures sensitive and reliable detection. This instrument will help you simplify your process and reduce your chance of error. The Beckman CEQ-8000 fills the capillary array with a patented linear polyacrylamide (LPA) gel, denatures and loads the sample, applies the voltage program, and analyzes the data. Detection is via laser-induced fluorescence in four spectral channels. Each capillary generates raw data and automatically processes for high quality base sequences or fragment lists after separation. Can be refurbished on request, refurbishment not included in price.
