This Illumina HiSeq 2500 Genome Sequencer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to  (more)requirements. It powers up and is in excellent cosmetic condition with minor marks. We were unable to test it further without the PC. Pacific Biosciences Sequel DNA Sequencing System This was removed from a university lab where it was (more) surplus to requirements. The unit powers up. The PSU is included. The system boots up but shows errors in relation to a smrt link server. There was no smrt link server on the client's network which is what caused this issue. It is in very good cosmetic condition but has a dent on one of the panels. This system was removed from a lab as it was no longer required. It was in full working order prior  (more)to removal from the lab. An engineer from Pacific Biosciences prepared the system for removal from the lab, including removing all the systems cladding, but unfortunately had to cut a few cables between the main unit and the environmental chamber. Whilst the blade server is included with the system, it has been wiped, so software may need reinstalling if you intend to use the system in full again. Strangely the information plate on the back of the unit just says 'PacBio RS' and not 'PacBio RS II' as would be expected, but the lab called it an RS II, and the cladding on the front says RS II, so we presume this is RS II. The engineer said that whilst getting the unit up and running again might be difficult, there is an enormous value of the system in parts. Apparently the camera part alone cost £125k. We have not removed any parts from the system whatsoever.
