The Mettler Toledo DL53 is a microprocessor-controlled titrator designed for accurate, reproducible analytical measurements. It supports:
- Titration methods including water determination (Karl Fischer), bromine number, vitamin C, and sulfur dioxide in wine
- End point, equivalence point, and pH-stat titrations
- Measurement of potential and temperature of solutions
- Determination of Total Acid Number (TAN), Total Base Number (TBN), acid and base capacities
Features include:
- Graphic display capable of showing E vs V titration curves online
- Compatibility with memory cards (not included) for storage of results, methods, and setup data
- Use of sensor cards for additional pH inputs and polarized input for voltammetric and amperometric titrations
- Interface options: external keyboard via DIN socket (supports text entry and remote control), barcode reader attachment, analog recorder attachment
- TTLIO sockets (maximum two) for device control via inputs and outputs
- Included DM143-SC double pin platinum electrode for voltammetric and amperometric titrations
- Supports conductivity measurements and conductometric titrations through third-party devices with analog output
- Expandable with temperature sensors and stirrers
- Application database includes 20 standard Mettler Toledo titration methods
- Upgradable to models DL55 or DL58
