The terminal is intended to be a component of a vast range of industry scales – from small tab (more)le-top scales, through platform, ramp, track and pallet scales, to livestock scales. It is equipped with a stainless steel housing of high ingress protection, IP 66/IP 67/IP 69. By standard the terminal features RS 232 and USB interfaces. Operation Ergonomics and Durability A brand new design of the housing makes the terminal a compact device, which positively influences the comfort of operation. This Bright Microtome Model M3500 was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirem (more)ents. The unit powers on and is in good cosmetic condition. it requires 2 x AA batteries to operate (not included). There are some tape marks on the unit from general use the battery compartment had signs of corrosion but we have cleaned this up, but some signs remain. It doesn't affect the operation of the unit. All dials and buttons appear to be responsive to the unit and move freely.
