The Miltenyi Biotec MACSQuant Analyzer 10 Flow Cytometer is a robust and versatile tool designed to meet the demands of contemporary flow cytometry applications. This pre-owned system provides researchers with the capability for in-depth investigations, whether it involves identifying rare cell populations, assessing cell production efficiency, or exploring complex signaling pathways. With its suite of automated features, this cytometer exemplifies the hallmark of automation intrinsic to the MACSQuant Family.
The instrument utilizes spatially separated laser excitation at wavelengths of 405 nm (40 mW), 488 nm (30 mW), and 640 nm (20 mW), ensuring precise excitation for various assays. The emission detectors are meticulously configured as follows: FSC and SSC at 488/10 nm, with additional parameters V1 at 450/50 nm, V2 at 525/50 nm, B1 at 525/50 nm, B2 at 585/40 nm, B3 from 655–730 nm, B4 at 750 nm LP, R1 at 655–730 nm, and R2 at 750 nm LP.
Optimized for outstanding fluorescence sensitivity and resolution, the system achieves MESFs with a coefficient of variation of less than 5%, and specific sensitivities of FITC <200, PE <100, and APC <150 allow for high precision and accuracy in measurement.
The flow cell dimensions are 200 x 250 μm, equipped with fluorescence detectors featuring spectrally matched photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) across all channels for enhanced performance. The cytometer's minimal sample uptake volume is 1 μL, with 25 μL recommended for volumetric counting applications. It offers flexible sample flow rates of 25, 50, or 100 µL/min, with the option to automate the flow to sustain event rates at 500, 1000, or 2000 events per second.
The system's measurement efficiency is noteworthy, with a completion time of less than 25 minutes per 96-well plate, using a 5 μL measurement volume per well. It accommodates a sample uptake range from 1 to 450 µL and supports a maximal event rate of up to 15,000 events per second.
Physically, the analyzer's dimensions are 669 x 500 x 554 mm, and it weighs 50 kg, offering a compact yet powerful solution to your flow cytometry needs.
