It will operate indoor or outdoor in the harshest environmental conditions and needs little or no maintenance. The ENVI-Air can detect hazardous gases at far lower concentrations than traditional analyzers and react in real-time. This gives the operator a longer safe response window to take corrective action.It is based on GC-IMS technology. Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) is a simplified atmospheric pressure time-of-flight technique that is highly selective with low ppb to % sensitivity. The GC-IMS adds multi-component separation prior to the IMS analysis. ENVI-Air does not require the use of paper tape, pre-concentrators or chemical reagents.The ENVI-Air is an industrial solution virtually drift free and unaffected by humidity or temperature changes and will be factory calibrated for the compounds of interest for maximum accuracy and reliability.
