The Thermo Scientific Dionex ICS-2100 is a comprehensive ion chromatography system designed for precise ion analysis using suppressed or non-suppressed conductivity detection. The system integrates the following key components:
- Eluent generator with EluGen cartridge
- Dual-piston serial pump for consistent eluent flow
- Injection valve and AS-AP Autosampler supporting 81 to 1152 samples including 10 ml polystyrene vials and 384-position well plates
- Column heater adjustable between 30 and 60 °C
- Separator and guard columns
- Conductivity detector enhanced by a suppressor for increased detection sensitivity
- Leak sensor and pressure transducer for system monitoring and reliability
- LCD touch screen display for user interface
- USB Blue Chromeleon dongle license for remote PC control
The AS-AP Autosampler features all PEEK flow paths to minimize contamination, supports large volume and trace analysis injections, and provides high throughput with excellent reproducibility (RSD < 0.3% for full loop injections). A status bar with LED indicators communicates the sampler status during operation.
This system supports both microbore 2 mm and standard bore 4 mm columns, enabling versatile ion chromatography applications.
