Product Description
The KNAUER Online Degasser is a state-of-the-art 2-channel device designed for semi-preparative flow rates up to 50 ml/min. Featuring an innovative Teflon AF fluoropolymer membrane, it is over 200 times more gas permeable than standard Teflon, offering superior physical and chemical stability. Its high efficiency allows reduced internal chamber volumes, with less than 7.7 ml per channel. Ideal for isocratic HPLC, its chambers can be connected in series for optimal degassing. In gradient applications, it can simultaneously degas up to 2 eluents. Additionally, the system accommodates various HPLC setups with a single unit. It is designed to expedite reconditioning and minimize solvent waste, thanks to its low dead volume. This equipment offers broad chemical compatibility for general HPLC use, ensuring zero hysteresis even at higher flow rates. There is no need for valve replacements in continuous operation, and it effectively prevents air bubbles in the chromatogram, stabilizes retention time, resolves gradient reproducibility issues, and minimizes unwanted interference, such as chromophore formation, oxidation, reduction, and fluorescence quenching.
