Description by the supplier

Introducing the latest Ohaus portable scales, a cutting-edge solution for laboratory and industrial needs. These efficient balances combine a compact yet robust design with exceptional functionality, offering high-resolution weighing results and rapid stabilization times.

Key Features:

- User-friendly color touchscreen display ensures swift data navigation.

- Rapid weighing mechanism offers reliable and repeatable high-resolution outcomes.

- Trained to handle overload efficiently.

- Offers multilingual operation and caters to diverse application modes to simplify weighing.

The distinct feature of the OHAUS Scout scale is its numerous connectivity options, including RS232, USB, Ethernet, or Bluetooth®. These contemporary choices multiply data collection and transfer capabilities, fostering a seamless and enhanced user experience.

Standard Components and Functions:

The standard package includes a transport lock, a stainless steel weighing pan, a setting lock switch, adjustable non-slip feet, and a bubble level. It is also equipped with software and mechanical protection to prevent overload/underload, an automatic tare, and low battery and stability indicators. There are selectable user print and communication options as well.

Applications:

- Weighing: Precisely measures weight in the designated unit.

- Piece Counting: Tallies count of items in a batch with uniform weights.

- Percentage Weighing: Expresses an item's weight as a percentage of a pre-determined weight.

- Check Weighing: Compares the weight of an item to preset limits.

- Dynamic Weighing: Useful for unstable samples, taking an averaged weight over a time period.

- Totalization: Computes the cumulative weight of multiple items, surpassing balance capacity.

Gilson Microman M250E Pipette, 50-250ul-cover
Gilson Microman M250E Pipette, 50-250ul

Gilson Microman M250E Pipette, 50-250ul The ergonomically designed MICROMAN® E positive displacement (more) pipettes, along with disposable capillary piston (CP) tips, provide the highest precision when pipetting viscous, non-aqueous liquids such as oils, blood, glycerol, and more, while protecting the pipette from contamination. MICROMAN E is available in six models covering a volume range of 1 to 1000 µL. MICROMAN E relies on positive-displacement technology to improve the precision of transferring viscous and volatile liquids. The capillary piston (CP) tips eliminate the air cushion between the sample and piston so volume accuracy is not affected by the sample’s properties. Tackle these issues with MICROMAN E: Viscous solutions—difficult to aspirate and stick to pipette tips. Volatile solutions—leakages are created from differences between solvent vapor pressure and the air pressure within the pipette. Cold liquids—delivered in excess amounts. Hot liquids—under-delivered amounts. Designed with Comfort and Performance in Mind The Red Dot Award winning design of the MICROMAN E features an improved handle shape that rests comfortably in your hand, with a large push button for easy aspiration and dispensing. The volume-locking switch allows for easy volume adjustment and minimizes the risk of accidentally changing the volume during pipetting tasks. Overall Protection The positive-displacement technology of the MICROMAN E is ideal when dealing with infectious solutions and radiolabeled components. Since the disposable piston makes direct contact with the sample, the user and the pipette are protected. Within molecular biology and forensic sciences, any trace of a previous sample can lead to erroneous results and the disposable CP tips provide absolute protection against cross-contamination.
