The OHAUS Scout scale supports various connectivity options, including RS232, USB, USB device, Ethernet, and Bluetooth®. These advanced features facilitate a smarter, more precise, and efficient experience for students.

Additional standard features:
Transport lock, stainless steel weighing pan, menu and adjustment lock switch, software and mechanical overload/underload protection, stability indicator, auto tare, low battery indicator, and user-selectable auto power off and communication settings.

• Weighing: Calculate sample weights in selected units of measure.
• Density determination: Determine the density of solids or liquids. The built-in weigh-below hook allows for testing specific gravity of items not suited for the weighing pan.
• Molar Concentration: Automatically convert mass to molar concentration.

Models available offer options for weighing, density determination, and weighing of moles. Power is supplied via an included AC adapter or optional 4 AA batteries.

The Scout SKX6201 stands out with robust construction: ABS housing, stainless steel pan, bottom weigh hook, and a manual calibration lock switch ensure durability. It's designed with a stability indicator and features mechanical and software overload/underload protection, low battery alerts, auto tare, and span calibration mass for models up to 620 g.

Designed to withstand educational environments, the balance's excellent overload protection features a high-strength stainless steel pan supported by impact-resistant plastic. It safely supports loads up to 10 times its rated capacity. Additionally, the integrated transport lock protects the load cell during transport, stacking, and storage.
