Gwyddion
Gwyddion is a free, open-source software tool for analyzing and visualizing scientific data, particu (more)larly data from microscopy and other imaging techniques. It is primarily used for analyzing and processing images and data from scanning probe microscopes (SPMs), such as atomic force microscopes (AFMs) and scanning tunneling microscopes (STMs), but it can also be used for other types of data, such as images from optical microscopes and spectroscopic data. Gwyddion includes a wide range of features and tools for tasks such as data visualization, data analysis, image processing, and curve fitting. It is particularly useful for tasks such as surface characterization, particle sizing, and imaging and analysis of nanostructures. Gwyddion is available for Windows, Linux, and macOS, and it can be downloaded from the Gwyddion website. It is developed and maintained by a community of volunteers, and it is distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Operating system: Cross-platform License: GPL (Free software)
