The HANNA HI97715C Ammonia Photometer, capable of measurements up to 10.0 mg/L, comes packaged in its original carrying case. This essential tool for precise water analysis includes two measuring cuvettes with stoppers and caps, cleaning cloths, scissors, and batteries. Operating within a range of 0.10 to 10.00 mg/L (NH₃-N) with a resolution of 0.01 mg/L, it delivers accuracy at 25°C of ±0.05 mg/L ±5% of the reading. The device utilizes the Nessler Method, adapted from the ASTM Manual of Water and Environmental Technology D1426-92. An LED with a 420 nm narrow bandwidth filter provides its light source, while a silicon photocell acts as the detector. Powered by 3 x 1.5 V AA batteries, it supports over 800 measurements without backlight. The photometer offers on-demand storage for up to 50 measurements for easy retrieval.
