Planar NSI Near-Field Measurement System
This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The system comes with HP workstation xw4100 PC with installed Antenna Measurement Software NSI2000 version 4.11.202. It also has installed National Instruments - Measurement & Automation Explorer Version 15.3. Hardlock (dongle) included
The system was not used for a few years, the technician who worked with it has retired and it was not used since.
The system is a planar near-field scanner, which measures an aperture of 1.5m x 1.5m. It is designed for high-frequency measurements of antennas. The equipment in the rack, controls the position of the probe and measurements are taken using a network analyser. These analysers are usually supplied by the customer and the one that was used with this system has been removed and is not included.
