The anti-draft chamber is an optional accessory intended for XA 4Y and XA 5Y balances working in unf (more)avourable conditions (air-drafts). It is mounted on a table, inside the balance is placed. The chamber features sliding side panes allowing free access to the weighing chamber of the balance. It consists of two separate constructions: the outer, designed to isolate the working part, and the inner. The working part includes a table and a stone separated by a vibration damper. The table features a stone top (located at the centre of the table) and adjustable feet with protective rubber tips, facilitating table levelling on uneven surfaces.
