The HRP 5Y.KO series of mass comparators enables calibrating mass standards and weights in accordanc (more)e with OIML Recommendation (R-111) for class F2 and lower classes. Comparators are used to ensure consistency in mass measurements as well as to verify weights according to legal metrology requirements. RADWAG mass comparators have been recognized by calibration laboratories in many countries. The HRP 5Y.KO mass comparators consist of two elements: a professional weighing platform (modern design of an electromagnetic mechanism in a hermetic steel casing) and 5Y terminal. The weighing platform is made of steel and features marks facilitating centric loading of mass standards. The comparator can be equipped with a self-centring weighing pan (extra charge), which significantly minimises the influence of eccentricity during measurements. The self-centring weighing pan eliminates the error of placing the weight "out of pan centre". This solution also enables calibrating weights of different shapes and dimensions without the need to set the positioners for central loading of the mass standard each time. The comparator has a user-friendly menu. Data security and work results archiving are ensured by RADWAG terminal software.

The system of automatic mass comparator is commonly applicable in mass measuring laboratories, and particularly in certification units for weights classes E, F and M. Design and functionality: The supervising part of a mass comparator is a digital module which cooperates with a controller of instrument’s mechanical components. The automatic mass loader features a basis with self-centring fields, a robot and a steel body. The digital module and the robot are located in mass comparator’s weighing chamber. The loading robot is controlled by the computer’s controller. The instrument is operated by means of digital display which is plugged to mass comparator’s controller. Lengthwise shift of the loading robot with weights is carried out automatically using solenoid actuators. Additional software functions enable loading and taking off the weights, data processing and storing, and data export to instrument’s memory.

Mass comparators of UMA 200 series stand for the highest standard of professional automatic mass com (more)parators. They provide comparison of 10 g – 200 g weights of E1 and lower classes. The device is equipped with 36 magazine positions allowing to deposit up to 36 weights. This solution allows to perform either comparison for complete set of weights carried out within one process or comparison for just a few weights of the same mass. Owing to elimination of human factor and with temperature changes and air drafts reduced to zero, UMA automatic mass comparators provide the highest possible measurement repeatability.

THB sensor THB sensor is a device measuring ambient conditions, it cooperates with: a computer (1 se (more)nsor via USB 2.0 port); direct cooperation, a weighing device (1 sensor via USB 2.0 port); direct cooperation, a THBR Box (up to 4 sensors connected to THBR Box via USB 2.0 port). The THB sensor is designed to measure parameters such as temperature, humidity, pressure, air density and vibrations level. Sensor registers level of permissible vibrations at the workstation, wherein the values of vibrations level are displayed within 0 - 100% range versus reference values in laboratory conditions. Values exceeding 100% threshold inform about potential occurrence of error greater than permissible error of mass measurement performed using weighing device. Each sensor has its own identification number that is assigned to measurements saved to the database. Ambient conditions can be monitored using: weighing instrument display website Windows OS application: THB Single or THB Multi Android application. On the basis of sent measurements, the THB Single or THB Multi software determines air temperature, humidity, pressure, density and permissible vibrations factor.

Thanks to such an innovative combination it is possible to: eliminate air drafts and ground vibrations, maintain stable environmental conditions inside the weighing chamber, prolong life cycle of the robotic system, shorten duration of mass standard comparison, reduce noise. Real-Time Measurement of Ambient Conditions The new RMC 1000.5 mass comparator has been equipped with a top-class thermo-hygro-barometer enabling real-time control of ambient conditions in four locations, among many in the weighing chamber and mass standard magazine. Thermo-hygro-barometers are highly precise devices measuring pressure with the readability of 0.001 hPa, humidity of 0.01 %, and temperature of 0.001 °C. Reliability of ambient conditions measurement carried out using the thermo-hygro-barometer is confirmed by a calibration certificate. Universal Magazine Insert Design Mass standard magazine features 36 positions. The RMC 1000.5 enables comparison of weights of all shapes compliant with OIML recommendations, using just one universal insert. Remote, real-time preview of comparison process is possible thanks to a video camera. Transport Arm With use of the automatic mass comparator, the transport arm remains inactive in the course of comparison, this eliminates air drafts and vibrations, considerably shortens comparison, and reduces noise emission. The transport arm of the RMC 1000.5 mass comparator is used only to transfer the mass standards, it is out of operation within the comparison process. Optional Equipment Additional equipment includes a video camera enabling remote preview of comparison process in real time (Internet access required), and RMCS software. The RMCS allows unrestricted monitoring of the comparison process.
