Application: Automatic mass comparator AK-4/100 series is intended to automatic determination of wei (more)ghts mass deviations with operator’s activity limited to the minimum. The comparator enables determining deviations of three tested weights in a single cycle. AK-4/100 is designed to compare weights from 10 g to 100 g. The instrument is commonly applicable in mass measuring laboratories, and particularly in certification units for weights classes E and F. Design and functionality: The supervising part of the mass comparator is a digital module which cooperates with a controller of instrument’s mechanical components. The digital module and the automatic loader are located in mass comparator’s weighing chamber. The instrument is operated by means of digital display which is plugged to mass comparator’s controller. The supervising elements are not integrated with mass comparator’s mechanical parts, thus enabling separation of instrument’s weighing chamber from ambient conditions influence.

The HRP 5Y.KO series of mass comparators enables calibrating mass standards and weights in accordanc (more)e with OIML Recommendation (R-111) for class F2 and lower classes. Comparators are used to ensure consistency in mass measurements as well as to verify weights according to legal metrology requirements. RADWAG mass comparators have been recognized by calibration laboratories in many countries. The HRP 5Y.KO mass comparators consist of two elements: a professional weighing platform (modern design of an electromagnetic mechanism in a hermetic steel casing) and 5Y terminal. The weighing platform is made of steel and features marks facilitating centric loading of mass standards. The comparator can be equipped with a self-centring weighing pan (extra charge), which significantly minimises the influence of eccentricity during measurements. The self-centring weighing pan eliminates the error of placing the weight "out of pan centre". This solution also enables calibrating weights of different shapes and dimensions without the need to set the positioners for central loading of the mass standard each time. The comparator has a user-friendly menu. Data security and work results archiving are ensured by RADWAG terminal software.

Function of Automatic Mass Standard Dissemination RMCM-5 mass comparator facilitates a complete dissemination process. This is possible thanks to use of the intermediate mass standard magazine, which significantly shortens comparison duration and reduces wear and tear of the transport robot. Real-Time Measurement of Ambient Conditions The new RMC 20000.5Y mass comparator has been equipped with a top-class thermo-hygro-barometer enabling real-time control of ambient conditions in four locations, among many in the weighing chamber and mass standard magazine. Thermo-hygro-barometers are highly precise devices measuring pressure with the readability of 0.001 hPa, humidity of 0.01 %, and temperature of 0.001 °C. Reliability of ambient conditions measurement carried out using the thermo-hygro-barometer is confirmed by a calibration certificate. Universal Magazine Insert Design Mass standard magazine features 10 positions. The RMC 20000.5Y enables comparison of weights of all shapes compliant with OIML recommendations, using just one universal insert. Remote, real-time preview of comparison process is possible thanks to a video camera. Transport Arm With use of the automatic mass comparator, the transport arm remains inactive in the course of comparison, this eliminates air drafts and vibrations, considerably shortens comparison, and reduces noise emission. The transport arm of the RMC 20000.5Y mass comparator is used only to transfer the mass standards, it is out of operation within the comparison process. Ejectable mass standards magazine For the user's convenience, the magazine slides out of the robot's footprint at the time of arming and allows weights to be applied very easily, then positions itself automatically when retracted. Optional Equipment Additional equipment includes a video camera enabling remote preview of comparison process in real time (Internet access required), and RMCS software. The RMCS allows unrestricted monitoring of the comparison process.

RADWAG-manufactured susceptometer enables carrying out measurements of magnetic susceptibility and m (more)agnetization of weights of E1 and lower classes in accordance with OIML R111.
