RADWAG mass comparators have been recognized by calibration laboratories in many countries. The HRP 5Y.KO mass comparators consist of two elements: a professional weighing platform (modern design of an electromagnetic mechanism in a hermetic steel casing) and 5Y terminal. The weighing platform is made of steel and features marks facilitating centric loading of mass standards. The comparator can be equipped with a self-centring weighing pan (extra charge), which significantly minimises the influence of eccentricity during measurements. The self-centring weighing pan eliminates the error of placing the weight "out of pan centre". This solution also enables calibrating weights of different shapes and dimensions without the need to set the positioners for central loading of the mass standard each time. The comparator has a user-friendly menu. Data security and work results archiving are ensured by RADWAG terminal software.

RADWAG Mass Comparators have gained recognition among Accredited Calibration Laboratories in many countries. Mass comparator APP 5Y.KO series comprises two components. One of them holds the electronic module, and the other precise mechanical measuring system. High measuring accuracy is guaranteed by semi-automatic adjustment system with external mass standard. The weighing pan made of aluminium is covered with cork layer and features centering holders for the weights. The APP 5Y.KO series features an intuitive menu supporting a user in instrument operation. Correct operation of the mass comparator requires applying a special anti-draft shield which comes standard with the instrument.

The suspended self-centring weighing pan is designed specifically for the WAY 5Y.KO manual mass comp (more)arators. Installed It is installed during the device’s production stage in place of the standard weighing pan, so it should be ordered when ordering a comparator (it is not sold as a separate product). The weighing pan has the following functions: placing several weights, which are the resultant of the reference standard, off-centre, positioning the centre of gravity of the test and reference standards always in the same place.

RADWAG-manufactured susceptometer enables carrying out measurements of magnetic susceptibility and m (more)agnetization of weights of E1 and lower classes in accordance with OIML R111. Modular design, upon disassembling respective module, enables using the susceptometer as a mass comparator or a balance. Compared to the previous model, the new one features option of internal adjustment and higher readability: [d] =1 μg for loads ranging from 2 g to 50 kg.
