Disperser OV 625 Digital Velp

A homogenizer is a laboratory or industrial instrument used for the homogenization of various types  (more)of materials, such as fabrics, plants, food, soil and many others. The OV 625 Digital laboratory disperser guarantees the highest level of reproducibility for a wide range of laboratory applications. Cutting-edge technology and engineering, like all Velp scientific products, guarantee precision and high shear force for rapid homogenization, emulsification, suspensions and high-speed mixing of biological tissues, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food products. Excellent mechanical properties and high chemical resistance make it suitable for even the most demanding laboratory challenges. DISPLAY AND CONTROL Bright, intuitive LED display and rotary knobs allow you to fine-tune the speed between 3,000 and 25,000 rpm. Clear speed information on a black background aids visibility in all conditions. SAFE AND RESISTANT Safety features ensure maximum operator protection. For example, once the set point speed has been set, the OV 625 Digital will reach it gradually. In addition, various alarms warn the user in case of overload and overtemperature. The resistant and hermetic structure allows correct operation even in the most difficult conditions. Warranty up to 3 years. For maximum comfort, choose the model with the double pole stand. CHOOSE THE SUITABLE ACCESSORY Choosing the right dispersing tool is essential to achieve maximum performance and high reproducibility. VELP dispersion tools are made of stainless steel (316L) and equipped with a PTFE seal, to be compatible with different types of samples and reagents. To handle different fluids, different dispersion tools are required. In some applications it is necessary to use two dispersing tools in order to achieve a final fineness level from coarse to fine. Thanks to a knob and a quick fastening system, inserting and changing the dispersion tool is simple and fast: in seconds you can switch from one application to the next. FOCUS ON THE PRODUCT What is a disperser? The disperser can be called in several different ways: homogenizer; Cell Lysor, High Shear Mixer, Polytron, Stator Rotor Homogenizer, Sonicizer or Tissue Tear. The various nomenclatures are due to the various uses of this tool and you have different results that can be obtained through the accessories. Essentially, a disperser is used to create a uniform mixture by forcing the sample through a narrow, confined space. Blade homogenizers, such as Velp's OV 625 Digital, use the blades as a rotor for dispersing. How does it work? The dispersing tool consists of a rotor rotating at high speed inside a stationary stator. The area between the rotor tip and the stator slot is called the shear gap. Thanks to the high circumferential velocity, the fluid is drawn axially into the dispersion head and forced radially through the cutting gap, breaking up the particles.

Benchmark D1036 BeadBug 6-Position Homogenizer-cover
Benchmark D1036 BeadBug 6-Position Homogenizer

Benchmark BeadBug 6-Position Homogenizer The BeadBug 6 joins the large capacity BeadBlaster 24 and p (more)ersonal sized BeadBug as the newest member of the Benchmark homogenizer line. Like the other members of the Benchmark Microtube Homogenizer family, the BeadBug 6 utilizes a three dimensional shaking motion to disrupt samples. This motion, when combined with beads of the appropriate size and material, causes high velocity impacts with the sample and is an extremely fast and efficient method for releasing cellular contents, including nucleic acids and proteins. Many different sample types, from cells in culture to organ tissues and bone can be homogenized in the BeadBug 6, most within 45 seconds. Programming the unit is very simple – just set the speed, time, number of cycles and pause between cycles, then press start. For convenience, the last programmed parameters remain in memory for repeated runs. Sealed tubes prevent cross contamination in the BeadBug 6. Samples are simply loaded into the tubes along with the beads and placed in the unit for processing. After homogenization, tubes are spun briefly in a centrifuge, and the lysate removed with a pipette. Designed to fit the needs of medium throughput laboratories, the BeadBug 6 can simultaneously process up to six samples in 2.0ml tubes. With optional adapters, the unit will also accept two 5.0ml tubes. A full range of bead materials and sizes are available in both prefilled tubes and in bulk to meet all your sample processing needs. INCLUDED: The Benchmark BeadBug 6-Position Homogenizer includes: - Power Cord - Operator's Guide - Manufacturer's Documentation - 2 Year Manufacturer's Warranty

Thermo Scientific Matrix Hydra II Automated Liquid Handling System Lab-cover
Thermo Scientific Matrix Hydra II Automated Liquid Handling System Lab

This Thermo Scientific Matrix Hydra II Automated Liquid Handling System was removed from a universit (more)y lab where it was surplus to requirements. The system is in good cosmetic condition with marks from use. All modules power up. We had a service engineer inspect and test this system after setting up and connecting all the electronic connectors but not the pipes. The 1-channel nanofill mechanism was stuck so they took it apart and lubricated it. It's now working fine and can be controlled by the PC. The matrix stage is working fine and can be controlled by the PC but the dispenser is not working. The Hydra pump Module: They have changed the two fan guards with better ones and cleaned the fan. Now they are looking better. This module is working fine and communicates with the PC as normal. We can run test protocols but from time to time we got some error messages. I think that because the fact we have not used any liquid and the system sends feedback when the liquid passed through some parts. The system is made up of the following; 1 x Matrix Hydra IICat no. 109610 1 x Matrix 2 Position Stage 1 x Apogent Discoveries Matix Hydro Pump ModuleThe unit powers on with all 3 Fills working. 1 x Matrix P1 Control Box 1 x Innovadyne 1-Channel NanofillThe unit powers up. 1 x Grant Instruments Type MS1The unit powers up.
