The field diaphragm also plays a key role in Conoscopic observation.The BA310POL contains a pre-centered stage, 160mm in diameter, with a continuous 360 degree scale in 1 degree increments. This provides sample orientation and enables semi-quantitative measurements. Furthermore, high precision ball bearings ensure smooth rotation, as well as precise positioning of the test sample. The stage also contains a chemical resistant surface, hard coated to withstand abrasion.
