Product Description
The I2R Therm-O-Watch L7-1100SA is a liquid level monitoring system comprising a sensing head (not included) and an integrated amplifier/controller unit with a 1100W capacity and built-in alarm.
- The sensing head attaches to thermometers or nonmetallic tubing and contains an electronic oscillator sensitive to capacitance changes caused by liquid level variations.
- Sensitivity depends on the dielectric constant of the liquid; for example, an 8 mm diameter glass tube with water achieves sensitivity of approximately ±0.2 mm.
- Upon detecting a level change above or below a preset point, two front-panel power outlets are activated: one normally ON and one normally OFF.
- The power outputs can control electrical devices such as heating mantles and cooling systems.
- Typical applications include preventing LC columns from running dry and controlling vacuum or pressure when used with a manometer.
- The unit supports piggyback connection with a thermocouple adapter (not included).
This solid-state controller provides precise liquid level detection and dual power relay outputs for laboratory process control.
Note: Sensing head and thermocouple adapter sold separately.
